Pastor Ceri is a self-described middle schooler at heart. While she is very serious about her faith, her enthusiasm and energy spill over into everything she is and does. She loves talking about and preaching about God's Love for us as evidenced by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Ceri is also a wife, mom, and grandma. She loves spending time with the love of her life, husband Greg, and doing anything from just hanging out to taking the occasional day trip to San Diego (and back). Ceri and Greg share a love of the outdoors and enjoy Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons -- both of which she describes as the "crown jewels of God's creation." They travel to these amazing places as often as possible.
Pastor Ceri also has a creative side, which shows itself in her photography and her writing. Her first collaboration with God, a devotional titled Even the Hummingbirds Are Still was published on her birthday in 2023. She and God are currently working on another book, with a few more in the planning stages. She also loves to use her camera and her phone to photograph God's beautiful creation.
Ceri is at home in Buckeye, Arizona, where she shares a home with her husband, Greg, and their two "boys" -- a Golden Retriever named Geyser and a "Heinz 57" named Biscuit. There doesn't ever seem to be a dull moment in their home, especially during football, basketball, and baseball seasons.
They are also blessed to live a relatively short distance from their daughter Shawn, who is an educator, her husband Kevin, who is a firefighter and their three boys. Their oldest grandson, Gabriel, is in his first year of teaching. Caleb, their middle grandson, works at a no-kill dog shelter and is navigating the process of becoming a trainer. Jaden, their youngest grandson, is journeying through his senior year of high school. Jaden is also the creator of the cover for Pastor Ceri and God's first book.
Ceri also loves to spend time at Camp Aloma during summer camp weeks. She enjoys spending time in the beautiful mountain pines of Prescott. Most special to her, though, is the time she is able to spend with the counselors and campers as they learn more about Jesus and grow in their faith. This last summer she even played laser tag with the campers and counselors -- what an experience!
When inside, Ceri loves to read and dabbles with painting with virtual paint nights. She enjoys creating stitchery with counted cross stitch and paints ceramic and wood pieces for display and gifting.
